We love the Environment...
We love the environment almost as much as we love our burritos! We both have a very keen interest in environmental conservation and as a company we have strict recycling procedures in place. Cardboard and plastics are separated at each festival site and either recycled in situ where facilities exist or taken away. We use only compostable cutlery and crockery, all supplied by Biopac UK Ltd based in Worcester. As we cook everything fresh and in small batches throughout the day, our food
waste is kept to an absolute minimum.
Both of our vans run on Bio-diesel which keeps our fuel costs low and reduces our CO2 output. Most events we attend are on beautiful greenfield sites and we aim to leave behind no trace of us ever having been there.
In 2012, FrankWater will supply our bottled water. FrankWater fund clean water projects in India through their 100% not=for-profit bottled water sales.
All of our teas, coffees and hot chocolates are certified as Fair Trade. This helps to ensure that disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries get a better deal for their produce.
